Library
Welcome to the Cavendish School Library
The library welcomes all pupils for quiet reading, drawing, homework, and chess. We have a collection of over 9,000 titles available and 32 Chromebooks reserved for library sessions. We use a resource called ‘E-Platform,’ where students can enjoy a variety of audiobooks and ebooks. During library lessons, we read ‘The Day,’ an online magazine covering current news and affairs. Students who contribute thoughtful insights, questions, or perspectives earn golden tickets for our termly vending machine prize draws. Following this, we provide dedicated, uninterrupted time for students to simply immerse themselves in the joy of reading.

Libresoft is our new student library system, accessible at school or from home using your Google account.
With Libresoft, you can:

Primary Phase Breakfast and After School Clubs
Cavendish School has a Breakfast Club and After School Club available during term time. These clubs are run by Fireflies and further information is available on their website.

Celebrating Success
The staff and governors of Cavendish wish to congratulate all of our Year 11 pupils for the fantastic GCSE grades they have achieved this year.
Headteacher, Peter Marchant said, "The grades that our pupils have achieved are a reflection of their hard work throughout their time at the school and they can rightly feel proud of what they have achieved through these challenging times."
