Open Events for Prospective Parents for Reception Classes September 2025

Welcome from our

Executive Headteacher

On behalf of the pupils, staff and governors of the Cavendish School, I give you a very warm welcome to our website and invite you to explore its content.

For those of you who are already part of the school, I hope it provides you with the information you require but if not, then please don’t hesitate to contact us. For those of you who don’t know us, I hope it gives you some insight into what we are about and what we think is important.

A successful school is built on the relationships that are built between staff, pupils and parents and I believe this is a real strength of the school. Hopefully the website will give you a feeling of who we are as a school. Our aim is to develop young people who will not only leave the school with an excellent set of academic results but will also demonstrate our values of respect, resilience and responsibility.

Celebrating Success

The staff and governors of Cavendish wish to congratulate all of our Year 11 pupils for the fantastic GCSE grades they have achieved this year.

Headteacher, Peter Marchant said, "The grades that our pupils have achieved are a reflection of their hard work throughout their time at the school and they can rightly feel proud of what they have achieved through these  challenging times."
